Artist Statement - Vancouver
After returning to Vancouver from life changing trip to South East Asia, the trip in which I discovered and fell in love with photography, I had to learn to see my 'backyard' Vancouver with a new pair of eyes. The city and landscapes that were part of my everyday life now turned into my new 'canvas'. In this portfolio you find my passion for bridges, the Capilano and Lions' Gate Bridge to the breathtaking cityscapes of Lighthouse Park and everything in between such as the Gastown Steamclock, Five Sails and Stanley Park. In all my images I try to convey photography as Fine Art with a deep appreciation for natural beauty of this magnificent city.
